Jin Shin Jyutsu for IBS, Colitis, Crohn's, etc

Jin Shin Jyutsu for a Healthy Digestion - on a final note. Any discomfort like diarrhea, constipation, IBS, Colitis, Crohn's disease can be helped by the Large Intestine Function Energy.

Below is the Left Flow explained (which helps diarrhea):
Place left hand on right shoulder (SEL 11) and with right hand hold the left index finger.
Then move the right hand to the third rib down on the right side (SEL 13)
Then move the right hand to the last rib on the right side (SEL 14)
Then move the right hand to the left cheekbone (SEL 21)
Then move the right hand to the right clavicle (SEL 22)
Then move the right hand to the left clavicle (SEL 22)

Reverse the order of the hands for the Right side Flow (which helps constipation)

This flow also helps the teeth, gums and jaw, as well as the wrist and shoulder. It is the key to healthy muscles. Also good to help nose bleeds.

Self Help For Fast Wound Healing: A Jin Shin Jyutsu Hold

Someone asked me a question the other day about how to heal a wound FAST with Jin Shin Jyutsu. My brain, bless it, went crazy TRYING TO (sound familiar?) look for the 'best' and of course, most complicated answer - 'do this flow and that flow and all these flows' - that's the problem when one is given such an extensively wonderful 'menu' to choose from. It was only later that I just RELAXED and I REMEMBERED how to BE instead of what to DO.

Q&A: Jin Shin Jyutsu Left and Right Hands

Question: I have wondered about right and left handedness. Does the pulse checking change and do the flows change (as far as which hand goes where) because of the lefthandedness?? RM

Answer: An interesting question. As far as my understanding goes, the energy pathways, when unblocked, are the same in every body. So no, the pulse checking is about listening, as are the flows - and righthandedness or lefthandedness does not influence the way that Jiro Murai and Mary Burmeister outlined the myriad flows for us. They chose the most efficient sequence (flow) to open up each Safety Energy Lock. Whether you are right or left handed does not affect how the energy flows through your hands. However, because you are lefthanded, you might be more intuitive with your right hand. But that is a subtlety to work on. I hope this answers your question. - Astrid

Jin Shin Jyutsu for Healthy Digestion Part 2

Following on from my previous posts and the subject of parasites in the intestines. There are many people who suffer many symptoms caused by these little so and so's, but don't know they have them. All the Jin Shin Jyutsu exercises in the previous post are helpful against parasites, and also particularly the 16, 17, 18, 19 flow in text 1.

Some anti-parasite dietary advice I found online:
Don't eat refined foods, dairy products, and sugars. Eat more raw garlic (or take garlic capsules), pumpkin seeds, pomegranates, beets, cabbage and carrots, all of which have good properties against parasites. Drink a lot of water to promote elimination. Consume more fiber, which helps get rid of worms. Supplement your diet with probiotics, such as Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacilus plantarum, Saccharomyces boulardii, (and bifidobacteria, to keep parasites from spreading).

Digestive enzymes will help restore your intestinal tract to its normal state, which makes it inhospitable to parasites. Papain (extracted from papaya) taken 30 minutes before or after meals helps kill worms. Raw vegetables and raw fruit are rich sources of enzymes (vegetable juicing is a great way to get your daily quota in). While all raw foods contain enzymes, the most powerful enzyme-rich foods are sprouted seeds, grains, and legumes. Sprouting increases the enzyme content in these foods enormously. Lack of digestive enzymes can be a factor in food allergies. Symptoms of digestive enzymes depletion are bloating, belching, gas, bowel disorders, abdominal cramping, heartburn and food allergies.

And here's some more of my own research - very top line:
Make sure you are not vitamin and especially mineral deficient (take a supplement). Keep an alkaline PH level in the body - acidity promotes parasites. Drink spring water with fresh lemon juice (lemon juice turns alkaline in the stomach), have fresh grapefruit (also turns alkaline and helps clean the liver) and choose (organic) short grain brown rice (cleans the intestines) over other types. And the usual advice: stay away from alcohol, coffee, tobacco, sweets and refined & processed foods.

Question: Can Jin Shin Jyutsu help with Colitis Ulcerosa?

Answer: Yes, Jin Shin Jyutsu is a great way to calm any digestive disorder or discomfort. Below are links to different self-help exercises. What is Colitis Ulcerosa or Ulcerative Colitis?
Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammation of the large intestine or colon. In people with ulcerative colitis, ulcers and inflammation of the inner lining of the colon lead to symptoms of abdominal pain, diarrhea, and rectal bleeding. THE FOLLOWING EXERCISES CAN HELP ALLEVIATE ANY DIGESTIVE DISORDER, PAIN OR DISCOMFORT - however, if you feel uncomfortable during these exercises discontinue doing them for a while, then try again for a few minutes each time. Experiment and listen to what your body is telling you!
Do these two exercises as often as possible:

To clear the front (especially during a flare up) place the left hand over the right shoulder (SEL 11) and the right hand on the sitting-bone (buttock SEL 25) with palm up. Reverse hands for the left side. This exercise is to help the descending energy down the front of the body.

To clear the back, place the left hand over the right shoulder (SEL 11) and the right hand on the groin (SEL 15). Reverse hands for the left side. This hold also helps boost OR CALM the immune system.
This exercise is to help the ascending energy up the back of the body.
The first two steps of self-help stomach flow (right energy pattern): Place your left fingers on the right cheekbone (SEL 21) and your right fingers on the right center of collar bone (SEL 22) . After a few minutes, move right hand to left base of rib cage (SEL 14).
Reverse the hands for the left energy pattern.
